Construction
Hull: Cold moulded, double and triple diagonal Mahogany cascover sheathed (similar construction to Swordsman). Oak/Larch and Mahogany frames, Spruce and Larch stringers.
Coachroofs and wheelhouse: Teak and Mahogany.
Decks: Teak.
Accommodation layout: 6 berths in total: 4 in front cabin (2 in L shaped seat area and 2 in V shaped front) plus 2 in the aft cabin. Aft cabin is 2 separate bunks with a vanity wash unit in the middle. Toilet and shower is located in the front cabin.
Performance: Initial performance test figures produced when draft was new (copies available), recorded speeds of 27knots +. A comfortable cruising speed is 18 knots.
Additional information:
Boat is fitted with a complete 240v shore power system with isolator and trip switches. Four 120 amp/hr 12 volt batteries (new in 2004), are connected to a self sensing Sterling battery charger. This system ensures that all automatic float operated bilge pumps will operate if needed. There are 3 auto bilge pumps in total and one manual.

Forester is a beautiful boat that we are reluctant to part with but as we have decided to move to the middle of France, a coastal boat is unfortunately not going to be part of our future. She is a one off, if you are looking for an excellent condition craft that you will not see everyone else with, then she is for you. We have found the whereabouts of 2 of the 3 other hulls made at the same time but the forth one remains lost. All these details are available and would be given to the lucky new owner.
